I can't ever log in. Everytime I try (even if "All servers are currently up") I can't connect to the login server. I've managed to play a whopping three times I think so far.

We arent talking about EQ2.
It's the other game.
On the bright side, I plowed through most of 56 on my bard today.
What class did you want to try?
I found my calling with Entertainer.

Yeah, huge patch today but it pooched server stability.. hopefully better tomorrow...I wasn't able to play more than 10 mins.ran into that today...really wanted to create a certain class, and even though the servers were up, it kept timing out...

I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

I don't think it is ready, but the site mentioned it being lifted soon. Personally I think it's a mistake. There is a good "shell" for the game, but that's all I see of it so far.

LOL... some people can get really tight assed about NDAs and I was being excessively vague on purpose.Spangaloid_PE wrote:what are the consequences for mentioning the name of a game one is beta testing before one is allowed to publicly mention the name?
are we talking life in prison here?
I've seen people (other beta participants) go so far as to hunt down people...post real name, address and even pictures of people who toe the line on NDAs... eventhough the worst they will do is boot you out of beta, a NDA is still a legally binding contract.

if you were walking around and you came upon a tulip with tits, would you let it be for the rest of the world to enjoy.. or would you pick it and carry it off to a secluded area to motorboat them?

Just get the LaunchPad application from someone (you might already have it if you have Tanarus, Infantry, or PlanetSide installed) and run it with:Vaemas wrote:*yawn* got my beta 3 acceptance email thursday after I picked up Dorf from the airport for the Cestus meet. debating whether I actually give a damn and should order the CD now...
"C:\Program Files\Sony\Station\LaunchPad\LaunchPad.exe" /game:starwars
You can download it all. You might have to modify the location, of course.

Considering the anticipation and hype surrounding it, Sony can afford to pick and choose who beta tests. I think it's pretty shrewd of SOE to charge people for the delivery costs of the beta CDs.Fairweather Pure wrote:Please justify paying Sony to Beta Test SWG. I don't get it.
BUT, judging from the burnout rate of beta testers, they will probably have to start giving away beta access to the rabid fanboys on the public forums.
It's a long ways from release, in my opinion.... but then again I havent logged on in over 2 weeks. The perpetual downtimes, roll backs and showstopping bugs really killed any interest ever I had for the game.
