I think what these morons are doing is apalling, but at the same time, it serves SOE right for throwing in an untested experience system for their released product. SOE has stated that they will be correcting this issue, no word on punishment for those involved....

What is bs is that...if I read it right...the dev didn't get too upset about it, and almost applauded them for it :./

Ok the dev post I am referring to is apparently only in the first post. Others just stop at saying it's an exploit.

I've been following up on this.

As near as I can tell...

Something happened with the exp for 'Hand of God'. They're no longer in first place, and they have reasonable levels. I didn't even see a BR20 in their squad.

Also, the newest patch notes seem to indicate that the gameplay system that allowed this to go on has been eliminated.

More to come as I find out more.

You guys are still beta testing, remember? Only this time you're paying to test.

Do me a favor, and name a non-console game that's been released in the last 5 years that didn't have some kind of patch or exploit/cheat found in it. Name ANY MMOG that hasn't required multiple patches.

Did you forget to plug Blizzard games and World of Warcraft in your post?

I had one post about Blizzard, and wasn't anything even borderline any fanboism your implying. The fact is, I never plan on playing WoW ever. I do however plan on getting Planetside inside this week, I'm upset about the ending of beta far too early, and as far as I'm concerned the next month or so is still beta.

My apologies....

I really don't understand the comments about it still being beta though... The servers have been rock-solid stable. Arguably, there are balance issues, and definitely, the last-minute exp-system change was ummm... complete bullshit, but is there something more I'm missing?

From a technical perspective, I think PS was one of the cleanest launches to date...

Not sure on the events I haven't looked at them.

Stats seem to be accurate.
