Once again, Death By Stereo show its love for the fans by giving a fucking unbelievable performance. Their new album, INTO THE VALLEY OF DEATH, is fucking unreal. If you are a fan of hardcore, you best be picking this shit up.
The Troub is a pretty small venue, but one of the better in LA. I spent most of the opening act(s) chatting it up with a couple chicks from the high desert about New York hardcore(re: Earth Crisis, Madball, AF, Hatebreed, etc) and had a blast. The bouncers were cool as hell, the PA system was right on and the crowd was amped for this.
Acts like Death By Stereo give energy to the crowd and feed off all the love. Be warned though, the pit gets big and grows quickly due to the high intensity of each and every note that they play. The addition of Tito as the new 2nd guitarist has added a dimension unseen.
If you like hardcore or even like punk, GO SEE THEM!
