Buyin' it. The SS's look great, I've always wanted to put the beatdown on Karana, and talk up up with Erollisi.

i dont think they can raise the level limit.

would totally trivialize older content.

basically all they can do is add some new raid mobs and more fatty loots.

the players are way too powerful as it is now.

As long as it's not zone after zone of lame ass timesinks (ala emperor keys, seru keys, vt keys. acrylia keys, etc) I'm sure I'll have fun. If that's all it is though I don't think I'll be playing it that much.

DTs for folks who use /shout and /ooc would be better. Last couple times we did ToV /ooc was filled with the same mindless spew that DL/Seb/VL are.

Blech.

"further character progression making players even more powerful" != Higher level cap.

Look at Luclin. There was character progression (Alt-Levels) without increasing the player levels.

sadf? Players in EQ are ridiculously weak. My main beef with EQ is spending 60 RL days to become the best you can possibly become, just to get swatted aside like a bug by some level 53 froglok. The balance of power is so outrageously skewed that it just isn't any fun.

I wouldn't feel particularly powerful spending 30 minutes beating on some snake moon man with 80 of my closest friends.

Adding 15 levels is just lengthening the treadmill though.

Can you say Luclin? Hasn't Manaburn pretty much trivialized most Kunark content? You can't say that they won't for that reason... Pick another.

kyoukan: players are way more powerful now than when you stopped playing. any melee with his class title can probably own the Illis you are referring to.

bippen: because what does 15 levels of ATK do for melee?

makes manaburn look like ice comet.

mob ac will have to be jacked to like 4000 and they'll have to have lure AE slows/atk debuffs/silence/blind/death touch/shadowstep/you name it to last more than 15 mins after a server fart.

In The Hole there is a door near Yael that leads to a 'mystery place'... This is an entrance to a plane - probably the Plane of Disease or something I forgot the name... Exciting - eh?

plane of underfoot alledgedly
<humor
It's the plane of "Fook, I can't get back past the door I squeezed through"

I predict it will be keyed with norent/not soulbound drop from Yael that every player must posses to enter.
/humor>

I'd be perfectly happy if that really is the entrance. Would discourage 95% of the server from ever going. Make Yael a 12 hour pop while thier at it to keep the vultures out ala NToV.
