Basically, it's a "kit" that's mounted onto dummy bombs, making them satellite guided smart bombs. The kit is inexpensive, and proved very successful in the Iraqi war. Pretty awesome concept, someone was thinking inside the box on this one. Why pay millions of dollars per smart bomb when you can spend a few grand on some fins and an uplink system, which in effect turns your entire stockpile of dummy bombs into satellite smarties.
