Damn shame if it is true. Just goes to show that the gene pool has its own little filter on it.

With all of the crazy shit that I've heard Mohammed Saeed al Sahaf saying over the past two weeks, I have trouble taking anything he says at face value.
That van was told to stop and it didn't, not long after there had been a suicide bomber incident and with word being spread by the Iraqis that there were more to come. His job is to keep the morale of his regime's supporters up; he is little more than the Minister of Propaganda. I don't fault him for that, the US has people in similar positions. I guess what I'm trying to convey is: Think for yourself. Blindly accepting the words of an official of any government is not a great idea.Referring to Monday's fatal shootings by U.S. soldiers of at least seven women and children at a checkpoint in southern Iraq, Sahaf said "all those who do such acts are definitely racist."

I agree Fair.Fairweather Pure wrote:As always, the truth lies somewhere inbetween what both sides are telling us.
I do tend to think the US Military briefings are more factual and truthful than the Iraqi briefings. I also think the US Military attempts to control and manipulate the flow of information... hell, that's their job.
