On February 14th, 2002, Kings of Chaos was a victim of a large scale attack on its servers. These attacks are pending legal investigation.

We have reason to believe that the attacks were initiated by an angry group of IRC users who were seeking revenge against all the KoC players who have been spamming IRC channels with their unique links. We have tried long and hard to convince our players not to spam, but many just do not listen.

For this reason, we have decided to take the game down indefinitely. If we do decide to bring it back up, we will have to buy new servers and find a new host. This will require us to spend even more time, energy, patience and money than we have already invested into the game.

If you wish to see Kings of Chaos return, show your support by making a small paypal donation, clicking our sponsors ads, and convincing the inconsiderate players to stop spamming.
