The Bourne Identity

Post by Zamtuk »

I just saw this last night and absolutely loved it. The action scenes were very well done. I hear the book is better, but haven't read it yet. Also rumor around the campfire has it that there could be a sequel coming up. Is this true?

I saw the Borne series books in Barnes and Noble the other day. I hadn't seen the flick until this morning, but from what I noticed by watching the film and having read the teasers on the backs of the books, the movie doesn't seem to follow the books too well. But it was definately an enjoyable film and I'll be buying the books soon.

I loved the book. I refuse to watch the movie.

Too often it seems it is the peaceful and innocent who are slaughtered. In this a lesson may be found that it may not be prudential to be either too peaceful or too innocent. One does not survive with wolves by becoming a sheep.

The movie was so-so I thought, but anything it lacked in was more than made up for by that car chase scene. I remember walking out of the theatre thinking, "That was the most kickass thing I have ever seen." and then pondering whether I should try and risk a drive home in the same style!
