This game is freaking awesome. I foresee a bazlillion hours of game play in this one. Presentation is outstanding. Focused on fun. Great look of Forza 5 except not stuck with the same tracks over and over. Very forgiving so far. Sort of like a cross country demolition derby. You gets bonuses for not hitting/crashing but the game doesn't penalize you too harshly if you do drive recklessly. Lots of off roading thrown in. Bonus for drifting, etc so it's on the fun side and less worried about perfect technical driving. All the customization of Forza 5 is there. People walking around look pretty good. Detailed clothing etc, makes it more lively. You don't run over people though, they are only around when you're at hubs, etc. It's not Deathrace 2000.
Not sure if there are any live drivers or not. All the other racers are drivatars though. I think I had a live driver because we were battling on every turn. If that was just the drivatar, I'm even more impressed as it was attacking me, not backing down as I blasted through turns. Great stuff.
While Forza 5 is great, the open road is more my style. 100% for sure buy for anyone that likes car/racing games. Get those drivatars out there. My handle is "Hero of Canton2". Add me if you wish when you get the game. If you don't get it right away, it will be well worth it during a sale.
Great GPS Voice directions as well in the game to help. The world is beautiful (for Europe that is)
I'm finally using one of my consoles again. Oct-Jan is the best time for new games.

Re: Forza Horizons 2
This game is well put together. Lots of things to do and of course, tons of cars.
One thing I like is the free roam ability to challenge any drivatar you see on the road. I saw Anirask (Animalor, and I don't believe you even own Forza Horizons 2 yet) drive by me so I flipped around and as soon as you get close to the target Drivatar, you hit X and a race is initiated. It doesn't matter where you are, the path is laid out and Anna (the GPS voice) guides you and warns you of sharp turns ahead. What a great way to race anytime you feel like it with a totally different track each time. The higher the performing car you challenge, the better the credit rewards.
BTW, I lost to Anirask, but beat the next guy I challenged in a better car than mine.
The game is first rate. Only issue so far is overwhelmed severs so it's hard to buy new cars with your earned credits and the credit rewards from playing other Forza games hasn't shown up yet.
It has to be mentioned that the Xbox One's triggers are much better for racing games than the PS4. Better shape and individual rumble feedback make them that way. Triggers on the PS4 still seem like an afterthought.
