Justified

Post by Zamtuk »

A new show on FX with Timothy Olyphant basically reprising his role as Sheriff Bullock! The acting is surprisingly top notch, and the story is great. Plus Doug E. Doug makes a comeback as a Rastafarian preacher! It also got an 80 score on metacritic too, if thats your thing.

Sorry I would type more about it, but I smashed my finger in my garage door last night so im a computer cripple!

Glad to hear it's good. It has been sitting on my Tivo for the last couple days waiting for me to have time to sit down and watch it.

First two episodes are still sitting on my DVR. Keep meaning to catch up on this one before I get too far behind.

Season Two almost over. I think it's worth a watch if you haven't already. It's been keeping me interested.

This season has been great. Easily in my top 5 still-active shows. Next week's season finale is set up to be pretty exciting!

I'm still a few episodes behind. I have been streaming them, rather than catching them on my DVR. Unfortunately, Hulu seems to be delayed by about a month on Justified.

Comcast is always like 8 days behind getting this up on On Demand. Love the show, though!

The scene in the bar where he's reminiscing about Han Solo and "that green fella" is nerdlove.

The only thing that would make Glee worth "watching," would be turning off the television.

Lol ok!

First off, I am with Dave Grohl in regards to Glee.

Secondly, I am on episode 4 of Justified and it is pretty fucking good! Modern day Sherriff Bulloch that has improved his acting chops. Solid supporting cast, solid direction and cast/crew/camerawork. Really much mire humor than I expected, and that is a good thing! I really dig the show so far!

Yeah, easily the most interesting ensemble cast I've seen in a long while, and all of them quite excellent in their roles.

On episode 12.

Really enjoying the hell out of this show! And once again, Deadwood cast members are present, slthough in a minor capacity. A couple of Al's henchmen accounted for, and I particularly thought the Dan Dority part was fucking brilliant! I had a craving for fried chicken after the episode.

Good shit!

Season 2 over! I wont say I was disappointed but I was hoping for a bit more of an ending really. I guess it did tie things up and there was a bit of a twist there and not every show needs a cliffhanger.

It has been renewed for another season (13 more episodes) so I will be on the look out for that next year.

After watching the first four episodes, I'm green lighting the rest of season one!

Episode four, guest starring Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day off, convinced me they can come up with interesting stories each week.

I finished up season two a few days ago.

This series has been great through 2 seasons but I fear for its future. One of the last episodes in season two was called "reckoning" which, in a red neck setting, is the same as invoking Nazi's or Hitler's name. We've seen the hillbillies, moonshine, drugs and racists...what's left? I think this series could wear a little thin in season three. We'll see. They'll have to create a pretty interesting plot to get Wayland to shoot another 50 people.

Really solid start to the season. I have a feeling it won't be near as good as last year, but should still be a blast to watch.

It was pretty good. I especially like any scene with Raylan and Boyd together as they just "work" And the appearance by 'Quinn' from Dexter caught me a bit by surprise. One of the few shows at the moment that I'll watch weekly rather than allowing them all to air and watching in 1-2 sittings.

First show was a good start but there needs to be some serious villain character development to make the show as interesting as the previous seasons. Hat guy was kinda lame and seems have been just thrown in there to give Rayland someone to kill.

BTW, his name isn't Wayland and it isn't Rayland either! It's Raylan.

Which is also the name of a new Elmore Leonard book. Of which I am a few chapters in so far. They are short.

I am stoked that Neal McDonough is in this season. He was awesome in Band of Brothers and Ravenous. Makes for a good smiley-villain!

So far, so good after three episodes.

Looking forward to it!

MY fiancee had only watched season 1, so we are going through 2 now. Should be caught up by the time this season ends, which is pretty damn cool. :D No big deal for me on the delay since the following shows are coming up:

Archer!!!
Survivorman (Episode 1 already aired)
Californication
Shameless(US)
The Walking Dead
And eventually GoT, then Hannibal!!!!

Yay!

Edit: And Grimm starts back up tonight! Sure, it can be cheesy at times, but is good fun and I see them filming downtown sometimes, so that is kind of neat. :)
