Fairweather Pure wrote:Here's a full set list for each character from Prima. In case you didn't hear, all those special edition hard cover strategy guides that came with the kollector's edition, and all the other versions as well, are full of errors. The move sets are wrong, the fatalities are wrong, basically more is wrong than is right. Prima released a statement along the lines of "Fcuk you, we're not going to do a reprint". However, if you want free cards with all the corrections, send them an email! They also put this up on their website:

Full color downloadable cards for every character's moveset, fatality, babality, stage fatality, ect.

I figured several people might enjoy having access to these.
FYI, I recieved my full color, double sided character cards yesterday in the mail. They're the same as is available from the link. I'm happy to have them! I'm going to get them laminated this weekend and keep them inside my arcade stick.

Amazon prices back to 39.95. Went ahead and pulled trigger on PS3 version (I liked the PS2 controls on last iteration, even though the single-play game was ass).

Trigger and PS3 should never be used in the same sentence!

Mortal Kombat is perfect with the PS3-Pad, no need to get a stick with the Block-button far away.

Use L1 or R1 for Block and it's much easier to control your char!

What time do you normally play Kwon? I am generally on in the evenings pacific time (username "Phazael") and I hang in the beginner areas since I refuse to play the lagproof characters and I can't do 40% combo chains. I am still maining Sindel, but I dabble in Jade, Kabal, and Sheeva a bit.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .

Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.

My usual playtimes are around 5pm Pacific until I get sick of it, though tonight I have other obligations. I am likely to be around thursday, however. Starting to get a real feel for Sindel. I need to learn some online lag workable combos for Jade and Mileena and then I might have a descent tag team.

This game got some massive playtime this weekend amongst my friends at my house. I didn't get to play much at all because I was making meals and what not, but boy did they all love it. I was more than a little surprised it was so popular. The arcade stick was a major hit. One of my friends will be picking up the retro stick coming out soon.

Rain was a GREAT character, much praise for NRS for that one, but Freddy K is disappointing!
