Stranger Tides

Post by Winnow »

Horrible

At least the first 20 minutes was. That's all I could handle. It's like Pirates 2 and 3 but worse. Captain Jack Sparrow's mannerisms are extremely tired.

I enjoyed the first movie well enough as a summer flick but that's where it should have ended.

I haven't read a good review yet. People seem indifferent at best.

I unfortunately watched the 2nd one. That was quite enough! I did enjoy the first one, but will not even watch that again due to this perpetuation of garbage. Franchises should be left to Friday the 13th and other B-slashers! ;)

Sadly, there will be more...bad reviews or not, it is a money-maker.

What the fuck was it with that random christian dude just popping up every 15 minutes saying your soul can be saved no matter how bad you are? What the fuck.

We saw it, and thought it was okay. Nothing spectacular, but okay as far as brainless popcorn flicks go.
