Professions in Rift

My main has all three gathering profs, Butcher, Forager, and Miner. I then feed these items down to two alts who are production crafters, Apothocary, Armorsmith, Artificer, Outfitter, and Runebreaker.

Right now I am having a difficult time leveling up my Foraging beyond 275. I need to get that quest drop for Pristine Distillate but that is a 285 quest. Is there any place besides Stillmore to get my skill up and are there any plants (instead of lumber) that I can skill up on?

Found my own answer on the Pristine Distillate. I'll have to forage more in the western Stillmore area. Should only be ganked about 10-20 times.

Herein lies the secret of the elusive Pristine Distillate Quest in Rift. Foragers, rejoice, but be warned this requires some patience to acquire.

Looks like the next big patch will address several profession issues such as the retarded need for pristine distillate for apothecary dailies.

And those exact potions are the daily!

Wish I would have known before taking that prof.


So, along with making the daily more reasonable, they are categorizing pots to have them on their own cool downs. Having most on the same cool down was just plain stupid.
