Destiny of Velious
I guess the servers are up now. Going to give it a whirl when I get home from work. With all the changes in resists and stats, however, I am guessing this will be a hard xpac to like. Will give it a few weeks!

They are dumbing everything down too much, IMO.

Not even sure I am picking this one up :/
Re: Destiny of Velious
Does this mean the last expansion will move to the free-to-play version?

Oh, and let me know if you feel like playing. I still haven't done most of the heroic shit in the last expansion since I try to 3/4 box everything.
I figure with you rocking some shit, we could actually do pretty well.

EQ1's version of SoV sucked festering donkey balls (if you played an enchanter), won't play this one just on principle. Unless I get really bored anyway.

If I can't 3-box at least one instance, that will do it for me
I have not explored yet though--been too busy to play.

I've only seen TOFS so far but I'm liking it quite a bit.
Lots of fun encounters in there.

Decided to give Rift a whirl at my house, since I was buying for my sons and I we couldn't swing 6 new games at once so we decided to play Rift and if we don't like it we will get Vel in a few months. Just seemed like more of the same and the level 90 stuff was just getting boring. Having a great time in Rift right now though on Shadefallen.
