ME2-Bad Covers

Post by Winnow »

Image

Worst cover art ever for what may be one of the best games to date?

WTF is that? Looks like someone's mom and a toy you get out of a gumball machine in the background. You'd have to actually try to make something that bad.

Event the "2" in the logo looks like ass. This might promote pirating because no one will want to look at that cover in their collection!

Image

This might be alternate or replacement cover. Looks just as bad if it is.

I need to play the first one before I can justify buying the sequel :(

I'm sure I'll get it eventually!

The thing is, this game is so good, and people already know it, that they could sell this game with a black cover with just the title on it.

That would be a MAJOR improvement.

I think shit box art is a ploy to sell more collector's edition.

Probably not unless the game comes with a hot semi naked female alien figure.

Are you sure it isn't because of the box art?

N7 was on the armor of most of the human alliance troops in Mass Effect. If you look at the crap box art at the top, N7 is on the torso of the Sheppard character.

I'm getting Mass Effect 2 for PC and that's without even playing MF1.

That's just how good the game is (lol)

I've just heard people praising MF.

RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!

I just finished this game last night, and it's easily one of the best RPGs I've ever played. I rented it, but I am going to buy a copy so I can do a second playthrough at my leisure.

The combination of freedom with excellent mission documentation and the map screens means I never felt lost, but also didn't feel like I was on rails for the whole game. The combat was also excellent, meshed well with the cutscenes, and overall just flowed. A game hasn't kept me up all night like this in a long time.

On topic: yes, the cover art is shit.

Just finished this tonight finally, I forgot how much I loved this game when I started playing. I put probably 25 hours into it over the past 4 days, couldn't stop playing!

Very good game, I'd also put it near the top of my list. I finished all the DLC as well, and I thought it was all really well done and definitely worth the money.

On to Assassin's Creed 2 now, I'm catching up on my back log!
