I've got just about a thousand bookmarks I've collected over the years and being the neat freak I am, I hate going to one and finding it dead and then thinking I've got a bunch that are probably dead. So I did a little searching and found the above tool (AM-DeadLink) which does a really good (and FREE) job of going through your bookmarks and checking them for you. It lets you sort by ones with errors, and other things. Just thought I'd share as I'm sure some of you probably have more links than I do and could use a good cleansing.

Cool I'm the same way (so anal that I use Xmarks to synch my bookmarks on all my browsers). I'll check it out!
