Critter Crunch is awesome.

Braid and Zen Pinball are great fun too.

Yeah already have ZP. That's one thing PSN has over Live... You can install games on 5 machines so if you have a few friends or coworkers or whatever it makes it easy for everyone to chip in and create a shared account.

Yeah that is awesome. I wouldn't have most of the downloaded games that I do on my PS3 if it wasn't for the shared account I'm on. I think I have upwards of 50 games off of PSN.. I haven't even touched a lot of them but there are some pretty good ones in there.

You dont need Zen Pinball.

Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies are in the PSN store......that should be all the pinball you need :). I been beating highscores in Partyland and Stones 'n' Bones :)

Whoever designed some of those Critter Crunch levels needs to be shot. The difficulty curve is like.. Totally out of whack. Things are fairly smooth until you get to level 32 and beyond in Adventure mode and then it starts to get rather frustrating. I made it to 40 but not sure I can make it past that unless random luck grants me the perfect board. I don't see myself 100 percenting this.

Anyway, sale over now! Well, in 90 minutes anyway. Snooze you lose!

Critter Crunch!

Post by Aslanna »

Capy hereby decrees that Friday, January 29th is Critter Crunch PATCH TIME. Here are the details:

ADDITIONS!
- XMB Audio support
- language select available for all!
- Hey losers! You get a little XP even if you lose in multiplayer

TWEAKS!
- Player feedback regarding DIFFICULT LEVELS has been taken to heart. Tough levels got a little less insane!
- Coop networking tweaks to decrease pesky lag
- Multiplayer “Disconnects” are now awarded more accurately
- Catching a jewel while feeding glorious vomit to your son will no longer interrupt you
- Your rank will now be retrieved more reliably when playing Adventure

NASTY BUG FIXES
- No more annoying audio glitch
- No more Wins/Losses upload issues when the server is in ‘maintenance’ mode**
- Player score for Challenge levels now correctly handled in ALL cases
- “Barf Success” icon now shows up correctly in ALL cases
- “King of the Jungle” Trophy now successfully unlocks correctly even with a score of 0
I really hope those insane levels are toned down a bit. I know some people have completed the game but I don't see how!

Critter Crunch!

Post by Aslanna »

Finished Critter Crunch! The patch definitely mellowed some of the harder levels out. There was still some tricky bits here and there though so it was still challenging to complete. So if anyone stopped playing it because it was too frustrating give it another go! And I know a lot of people probably did since on the Challenge Leaderboard I'm ranked like 160 or something.
