Right now this is my favorite band. They are from my hometown (Seattle) and their one and only album has slowly gained appreciation over the last several months. I was happily surprised to see that they were recently on SNL with Rosario Dawson. They are working on their second album 2 blocks from my house and some of my nature recordings(bird songs, whales, and some others) may be on it if my wishes are made true.
First Clip is from SNL. Song is called
"Mykonos".

Next is a claymation video that the lead singer's brother made. Song is called:
"White Winter Hymnal"

These are just the two songs that I could easily link. The album is even better.

Yeah, they are pretty fantastic. I was hooked when I heard "White Winter Hymnal" the first time on WOXY.

Re: Fleet Foxes
I've found them to be a massively overrated band.
They have some legitimately beautiful vocal harmonies, but it becomes samey as fuck within about 3 songs. Then again, that could be said of most bands.
They are gifted, I just can't see why people fall so deeply in love with them. Help!

Nah you're mostly right. I think what I like about them is that they are tremendously skilled, and if they put their talents to use could become legendary with a solid release.
