MTG: Duels of the Planeswalkers

Post by Animalor »

Picked this up last week and it's quite a good digital version of the game.

There's no card micro-transations(yet) and most of the built-in decks are single-color(with a few multi-color) and each have additional 17 unlockable cards available as you play through each of the 17 rounds of the campaign.

The online MP is also quite good and stable. If you've enjoyed Magic in the past, I recommend giving this one a shot.

I played the demo. I know nothing about Magic. It looked like fun, but I had no idea what the fuck was going on and wasn't inspired to learn.

Magic is one of those things that if you don't know the rules to the game it's confusing as all hell.

Once you get into it though, there's a lot of strategy here. I used to play a lot of the real game back in high school but it became a pretty bad money pit and stopped.
