the only thing that makes it "better" is its open source. Honestly the Microsoft tool is more functional but I like to use open source tools and apps as much as possible. Pushing the open source apps and tools leads to more development and in some cases better apps and tools then Micro$oft makes and pushes them to further development.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not a Micro$oft hater but I would like to see the open source movement succeed.
