My daughter's pediatrician's office makes extensive use of tablet PCs. They look cool.

That said, I think it takes the right business application to make tablet PCs make sense.

Tablets are horrid pieces of absolute shit. Unless you have an actual need to use them for signing electronic documents while mobile, you are flushing money down the toilet. That thing will be back at HP getting parts put in it more than you will have it in your possession.
