Newegg

Post by valryte »

I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing the same issue, but lately Newegg seems to have gotten worse with shipping. I use to be able to order stuff early in the morning and it would ship the same day, some times the following day. Now I'm getting stuff shipped 2 days later. Even with rush processing. I have a order placed at 7:10AM EST with rush processing and over a day later it still hasn't shipped.

Between thanksgiving and christmas, any online retailer is going to have longer shipping times.

That's just how it is.

In the past 3 months I've placed about 6-7 orders on Newegg. Every single one of them took 2 days before it shipped. My last orders I added the Rush processing and they took 2 days to ship. All of them from California (seems they got rid of the other Warehouses?) Bitch offered me 25.00 credit on my next order, told her to keep it. I just want the rush processing refunded so I can move on and look for another retailer.

Not true, I also ordered stuff from Best Buy and Amazon over the weekend and it all got shipped within 24 hours.

Actually found 2 orders that shipped within 24 hours, but still not good with 5 orders taking longer than 24 hours on non-holiday months. I think the bigger issue is they need to honor shipping methods and rush processing. If you can't honor it, then don't offer it. If someone orders something with free shipping 3-7 days, then his package shouldn't be processed before someone who is paying for next day air. The guy that wants the slow free shipping is not in a hurry. Also if you can't do the rush processing, then don't offer it. You are only stealing money.

The most recent order I placed with Newegg was at my house the next day (ordered last Tues. morning, arrived Wed. afternoon). That was with standard UPS shipping, not overnight. I haven't bought much from them lately, so I don't have other examples for you.

I ordered a drive in September using the rush option at around 7:00 am Central. The website made it look like the rush was still pending, and then I received the shipping update that it was being delivered a day earlier than I would have had it if it had been processed on time.

Love Newegg

Lots of orders. Zero issues. All got here on time and as promised. I choose FedEx with them though. I don't go for the UPS bullshit.

Fed Ex is the way to go. Ever seen how fast those fuckers drive compared to other couriers? Bam.

NewEgg is awesome. I find it helpful not to be a dick and complain about their shipping. They remember those things! ;)

I went to Circuit City today since they are closing in a couple days and got an HP slimline S3500F computer for 200 dollars. Decent hardware for 200 bucks considering it is going to be used for school papers, games, back up picture files and to keep them off of my system. I figure I was going to be buying another Hard Drive anyway. so this can function as that for a year or so as well

I also picked up 4 games at 12 dollars each when 2 were listed at 49.00 and 2 at 39.00 and I got another 29 dollar game for 8 dollars. I also picked up Imogen Heap - I Speakerphone for 3.00 dollars.

It might be worth a visit. I walked out with 5 games, a cd and computer for just over $300.00

TV's were 50% off as well.
