Monitor problems

I recently got a new graphics card, and now when I play everquest, there are lines across my screen. Was just wondering if anyone could help me out with this.

what sort of lines?

kind of blurry lines, maybe a dozen or so of them. horizontally

Did you try to get some new drivers for your monitor and video card?

Have you tried changing your resolution? My old TNT2 Ultra used to do this when I ran it at 800x600, but was fine for any other setting, higher or lower...

The cause was substandard electronics between the chipset and the SVGA plug.

yeah i installed the new drivers. masteen, i think that may be it, i checked the refresh rate and that wasnt it.. ill try that when I get home. thanks
