Most fun I've had with a racing game in awhile.
-The tracks and scenery are outstanding
-The ATVs handle great. You can crash but it's much more arcade than simulator
-Can build your own ATV, detailed, around 20 parts with carious options to build it, or have the game make one for you.
-good music soundtrack
-winning races unlocks more custom parts for your ATV
I've played Motorstorm and Pure is better IMO.
Check it out if there's a demo.
I like being able to build your own ATV because you can fine tune it for handling, acceleration or tricks. I like acceleration and was able to use most of the parts to keep that along with handling.

No offense to anyone, but buying a game where you race 4 wheelers just doesn't seem like a good idea!
I'd be bored with it in 5 minutes, and be out $50-60. There's obviously a market for these games though, as there are several by different studios.

What does it matter if they're 4 wheelers? Whether it's Formula One or ATV, you squeeze the right trigger to go forward and squeeze left to brake. With this game, you get a lot of jumps/air time for entertainment.Truant wrote:No offense to anyone, but buying a game where you race 4 wheelers just doesn't seem like a good idea!

It was well worth my $2! There's not a whole lot out there I'd pay $60 for that's a racing game. Fun though!
Re: Pure 360/PS3
It just seems like a gimmick of a racing game to me. I guess jumps and air time are entertaining?
Like I said, this type of game obviously has a big market, cause they sell pretty well. I'm obviously not that market!
