Winnow's Worst Nightmare: Favre UN-retiring?

Post by Wulfran »

So EPSN reports...

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3471189

So is it really retirement if he DOES report to training camp, thus never actually missing a game?

I think that it would technically not be retirement as long as he doesn't miss any regular season games. That's just my opinion though. I bet Aaron Rogers is taking a hit out on him as I type this.

WTF, I already changed my Fantasy Football team name!

I hope he plays until people boo him off the field so he loses his "legend" which is still intact at the moment.

Must suck to be Aaron Rogers.

He pretty much said he wasn't retiring without actually saying it on Letterman at the end of the season.

I'm so glad the Packers aren't caving into wishy washy Favre.

They specifically asked him earlier in the off season if he wanted to come back and he said no...after he expressed interest in coming back even earlier in the offseason.

Fuck Favre. I'd be fed up with his attention grabbing shenanigans as well if I was an owner or coach. It's great that they won't release him and will only take him back as the 2nd QB behind Rogers. I'd make make him the towel boy and have him greet people and shake hands at the front gates before games. The Packers owe him nothing and put up with his retirement/unretirement crap for several seasons. The networks spent half the games the last two seasons talking about Favre while he hurled long bomb interceptions.
