I suggest doing the Tutorial and then PRACTICE. Hit Tab, then select Character to get a mouse over of all the abilities each has. If you just jump online you will prolly think it sucks because the learning curve is a bit higher than most games that play like this.

It is an RTS from a FPS view.

I played Savage 1 a lot!

One player (per team) has to be a Commander of sorts, buying and placing specific buildings as well as giving orders.

The others are the grunts so to speak. You can fight and repair buildings etc.

As a commander, you can issue an order that a certain building needs repaired or that you need to go to a certain spot. Protect that tower or hold that chokepoint etc.

If you follow the waypoint you get a bonus as a player.

Different archetypes/classes per Side! Scout-types are fast and there are healers, beefs etc

Can use Catapults to down buildings easier.
