I always wanted a Beetle and finally got the chance to get one.
Its a 2000 GLS with a scant 45210 miles on it for the reasonable price of $7300. Book price was $9820 so I think I did pretty good. This car is in fantastic shape for the age but one thing I already see as a problem is parts. After market parts are hard as hell to find and when I can find what I'm looking for its expensive. The cup holders alone sell for $55 each
Anyway, I was so over joyed to get it I just had to share it!

Congrats on getting that. My younger sister has one, and it's a fun little car.
I've always wanted an old VW hippie bus.

I was going to say something along those lines, but I left it for someone else

ahh good one Miir. I am a guy, this car is one of those things from my childhood that as an adult I still cant get over. My friend had an old 69 Bug when I was a kid and I often helped him work on it, the new ones are nothing like the old ones but to scratch the itch I had it was close enough. I know some people don't like them at all or think of them as a female college student type car but frankly I don't care. I needed a small gas efficient car and I like the way they look.

I'll at least give you credit for picking the color you did instead of some pastel color, that would be unforgivable.

2 of my man friends own purple VWs!
Congrats on the car! It doesn't have a spoiler does it? I've thrown a cheese log at a beetle with a spoiler before.

Are these two man friends of yours dating each other by any chance?

No spoiler on it, I thought about adding one for almost 3 seconds and decided it was dumb. Black was the only color I had even considered. The other colors with maybe the exception of the silver are not even close to my style.

That car is only a little bit purple
Incidentally, I drive a subaru, which means, if I've been informed correctly, that I'm a lesbian.
Grats on the car!

Gratz on the car bro!! It is always exciting to get something that reminds you of your childhood. Guess that is why Miir still taps his sister.

That was pretty funny!
Grats on the new car. I've never been in a new Beetle. I was in an old 60's bug once and got claustrophobic! The new one's look much roomier.
