I'm not all that big of a fan of his, though I do like his music for the most part.. but I joined a bunch of people for his concert the other night and I've gotta say, he kicked ass. The dude has a great strong voice and was spot on for every note. He tossed in Nutshell by Alice in Chains, some Filter and a bit of a few other covers and was non-stop for the entire show.
If you can get decent priced tickets and like his music, it's worth seeing. Arrive late though. The opening act sucked balls. (The Sunstreak or some shit)
