Scumbag Children

Post by Boogahz »

I almost added this to the spoiled child thread in the Christmas forum, but it would take the thread in the wrong direction. This has been in the local news here:
Juveniles arrested in July sexual assault
12/11/2007 10:38 AM
By: News 8 Austin Staff

Two juveniles are in custody after police say they broke into a woman's home and attacked her in July.

Police acted on a tip last Friday and arrested an 11-year-old and a 14-year-old boy. The victim's family offered a $10,000 reward.

They say the juveniles broke into a 60-year-old woman's home on Kevin Kelly Place last July, tied her up and attacked her.

Police say the boys fled only when the woman said she had a serious medical condition.

They have been charged with burglary with intent to commit
sexual assault. Their names haven't been released because of their ages.

Austin Police Detective Scott Stanfield says a 15-year-old
girl and a 16-year-old boy were standing outside the woman's house, acting as lookouts. Stanfield says they haven't been charged because they didn't break into the house.

Police say they don't know a motive for the attack.

The boys were being held Monday at Gardner Betts Juvenile
Detention Center.

Answer: Teenagers are aliens and thier motives are a mystery to most adults. You can be the best parent in the world and they'll still do completely irrational things due to teenager logic (the lyrics in their latest favorite song, Josh on MySpace called them mean, they lost thier job and girlfriend and have access to soviet-era assault rifles, etc).

Yeah, that shit's pretty twisted... but I don't think I could rationalise half the wierd shit I did as a teenager (not that any of it was of this nature)

Similarly, I don't buy the "try them as adults" idea. Either treat children as adults (well don't, that would be bad), or treat them as children.

Sorry, but there is no way "best parents in the world" churn out kids like that. Shitty, lazy, indulgent parents churn out kids like that. Yes, teens can be irrattional at times, but teens with good parenting will never consider burglary with the intent to rape. Shitty, lazy, indulgent parents are the also the same people who think "there is nothing you can do" to keep teens from becoming sick fucks like that.

Do the world a favor and don't have kids if you think that.

If memory serves me, it's too late for that. :(

Aussie girls selling themselves for beer: Study

Melbourne: Alcoholism is so rampant among Australian youngsters that girls as young as 11 get into prostitution just for a couple of cans of beer, a report by Sydney's Odyssey House revealed.

The annual report said children as young as 10 were being admitted to Odyssey's treatment program for alcohol abuse.

According to Sydney youth campaigner and head of Youth Off the Streets, Father Chris Riley, it was not surprising that the report showed that kids as young as 10 were abusing alcohol. Father Riley said that his personal experiences helping troubled kids were echoed in the report.

"In some of the communities we're working in at 9.30 in the morning, 12- (and) 13-year-olds have bottles of Jack Daniels in their hands, and it is just shocking the way these things are available to kids," news.com.au quoted Father Riley, as saying.

He added: "In one of our communities we work in, a group of girls aged between 11 and 16 go down to the bars and clubs at 1am, because that is when they will close, and will prostitute themselves simply for a can or two of beer. This is common throughout the communities we're working in."

I hear American girls have rainbow parties for acceptance, at least our girls are getting a beer out of it.

Aussie version of Office Space:

Peter Gibbons: What would you do if you had a six pack of beer?

Lawrence Dundee: I'll tell you what I'd do, mate. Two chicks at the same time.

Peter Gibbons: That's it? If you had a six pack of beer, you'd do two chicks at the same time?

Lawrence Dundee: Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I had a six pack I could hook that up, too; 'cause chicks dig dudes beer.
