This movie is OK.

Robert Downey Jr plays a thief turned actor by chance. Val Kilmer plays a gay detective.

Robert Downey narrates the story and stops the film to add additional background comments and points out cliches in the film, etc. Downey's character isn't too bright (in a funny way, not dumb and dumber way) and Val Kilmer plays a good gay "tough guy".

Robert Downey's character keeps screwing up basic detective things which leads to Val Kilmer saying some funny things. The female/love interest in the movie is an interesting character as well.

Not much to explain, just watch the fucking thing.

8/10 for most people
7.5/10 if Robert Downey Jr talking too much annoys you
