Official NFC Smack Talk Thread

Post by Bubba Grizz »

You are all going to wish you had Vick on your team!

Check the match ups and vote on the team you believe will win that game.

Hello NFC.

I notice that some of you seem to have unfortunate quarterback situations.

Midnyte Rage, for instance, has Alex Smith (33 points) and J.P. Losman (21 points). Atlantic Asspirates has Jay Cutler (102 points) and Vince Young (65 points). Wile Wombats has Matt Leinart (53 points) and Ben Roflsburger (103 points).

I, on the other hand, have a fantastic quarterback situation, with Tony Romo (159) and Carson Palmer (153). Palmer, my lower performing QB, would be an upgrade over the starters of every team other than Noobtastics and Animale's terrors.

So I have two QB's who are each better than the starters for every team but two. This is a waste.

If any of you QB-deprived teams are looking for a new QB, I am receptive to offers!

Spang: The only guy I really want on your team is Chad Johnson. And you already have Peyton Manning, so I doubt you'd be willing to part with that much for a second QB. But if you're still interested (even after Romo's disaster this week), and you think a trade could be worked around Chad Johnson, let me know.

League: I've just witnessed the worst fantasy game of my life. Check this trash out:

Favre Has Got To Go!
QB Jon Kitna 3.45
WR Reggie Wayne 16.50
WR Anquan Boldin 0.00
WR Nate Burleson 1.35
RB Willie Parker 10.20
RB Jamal Lewis 1.10
TE Jeff King 3.65
K Neil Rackers 9.00
DEF New England 25.20
Total: 70.45

Luna Smudge
QB Tony Romo 29.93
WR Santonio Holmes 0.00
WR Shaun McDonald 4.95
WR Dwayne Bowe 7.50
RB Shaun Alexander 5.85
RB LenDale White 1.20
TE Antonio Gates 21.65
K David Akers 0.00
DEF Philadelphia 0.00
Total: 71.08

To summarize: I had two positions on bye weeks. One of my wide receivers didn't play. One of Winnow's wide receivers didn't play. A stunning ten positions in this matchup didn't produce even 5 points. I had only two guys with more than ten.

I had no productive players this week (except maybe Dwayne Bowe with 7.5) other than Antonio Gates, who had a big game, and Tony Romo, who turned the ball over 5 times.

So congratulations Winnow: You lost to a tight end and a guy with 6 turnovers. What a disaster.

I didn't realize it at the time of your post, but after this week I won't need another QB. I do appreciate the offer, however!

On a side note, if anyone needs a RB and can give up a WR, let me know, please!

Teams from Michigan are a curse. Kitna's pathetic 3.45 did me in.
