I'm looking for a new game to grab for the DS, preferably and RPG or puzzle game. I've got Puzzle Quest, it's great. Also have FFIII. So, taking all recommendations on great games!

Re: Nintendo DS Games
Out of boredom and while looking for something to play I picked up Pokemon Pearl a couple days ago.
I'm still not sure how I feel about it to be frank.
The combat is somewhat rudimentary and plays out to be a rock/paper/scissor scenario most of the time. Once you level up your little critters enough, you end up 1-shotting most of the stuff you run into provided you match the right strength against the right weakness.
The story is somewhat non-existant so as to appeal to the widest amount of kids possible.
There seems to be a ton of side stuff to do aside from battleing poke-critters but I haven't touched on that much.
Aside from combat, the game is a top-down affair that kinda reminds me of the old school Zelda games.
I know enough that I won't buy another poke-game again but it is an interesting experience finding out what all the fuss is about.

Re: Nintendo DS Games
how about both puzzle and rpg?
Puzzle Quest
I am loving this game ahah; its really long and its basically a super enhanced bejeweled with roleplaying elements...this game is awesome.

Re: Nintendo DS Games
I got and played through Puzzle Quest as a Wizard on the DS. Was a fun game. I traded it in today alongside Metroid Prime Hunters and Easth Defence Force 2017 for Bioshock(EB Games up here has this "Trade 3 get 1 Free" deal so I took advantage of it).
If they release it on the XBLM at 800 points or under, I may re-buy it there.

Re: Nintendo DS Games
Hearing good things about the Mana DS game. Gonna check a few more reviews before I pick it up, but positive so far.

Re: Nintendo DS Games
Not a RPG or a puzzle game but I recently tried out DK - Jungle Climber and found it entertaining. It's the first time I've picked up the DS in months as nothing good has really came out for it that I can remember. Not sure how long it will hold my interest though. It does involve a lot of button pushing to maneuver vertically.
