The greatest scandinavian playwright of the 20th century, the man Woody Allen called 'the greatest filmmaker since the invention of the camera', a man who rethought cinema on the same scale as Kurosawa or Fellini, has died.
I'm now sad and am going to go watch Fanny and Alexander or maybe 'Sommernattens Smil'.
