Wow Mancow is a idiot. Funny how Opie and Anthony are getting railed on for comments they did not even make, a homeless man said he wanted to rape Condi Rice. It's a fucking manhunt on the radio now. Glad I have satellite, Free radio is going to become Dr. Laura and a bunch of boring ass shows that do not offend anyone.

I also enjoyed this nugget regarding the controversy
Rev. Peterson Blasts Sharpton for Silence Over Opie and Anthony's Vulgar Attacks on Condi Rice

LOS ANGELES, May 11 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Rev. Al Sharpton is coming under fire for his silence over the vulgar attack against Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice by shock jocks Opie and Anthony last Wednesday. Opie and Anthony engaged in crude and graphic discussions with one of their guests about raping and beating Condoleezza Rice, First Lady Laura Bush, and Queen Elizabeth. The two apologized Friday. "The Opie and Anthony Show" is carried by XM Satellite Radio. Outspoken conservative author and activist Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson ripped the shock jocks and pointed out the hypocrisy of Al Sharpton regarding this matter:

"Opie and Anthony have crossed the line and should at the very least be fined for their disgraceful remarks. Even as 'shock jocks' they cannot promote abusing and raping women," said Rev. Peterson. "Where's the outrage from Al Sharpton on this attack of a Black women? Does his selective defense of Black women only apply to non-conservative women?"

Sharpton spurred the firing of talk show host Don Imus last month from CBS and MSNBC for his derogatory remarks about the Rutgers' women's basketball team.

"This incident shows Sharpton's hypocrisy and that he's not interested in helping Black women. I hope that XM Satellite Radio will address this issue with Opie and Anthony to make sure that these kinds of comments are not repeated," said Rev. Peterson.

Mancow was on the air here in LA for about 9 months. It was some of the worst radio I've ever heard in my life. His show is like listening to an epileptic seizure. Thank god he didn't survive here in LA.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

When I lived in Chicago folks seemed to worship Mancow.. A couple sessions of listening to him, especially when he went off about the silent black helicopters hovering outside of his condo windows.. It was refreshing when I moved back east and no one had ever heard of him.

I have been listening to mancow for years. I usually switch between him and the local news channel in the mornigns because he has too many damn commercials. I like the fact that he is a libertarian. I certainly don't agree with everything he says but he does bring up valid points against the government and doesn't hold back against saying what is right against the politicians. I definitely don't agree with his Anti-Abortion stance but I do agree with his anti-war thoughts. He'll have some pretty funny skits now and then but I enjoy his political views. When he starts getting annoying then I just change the channel.
