For those who haven't heard, Vernon Wells recently had an interesting way of dealing with some hecklers at a game at Cleveland.

His autographed ball wrote:"Dear Mr. Dork,
Here is your ball! Can you please tell me what gas station you work at, so when you are pumping my gas, I can yell at you!!! Now sit down, shut up and enjoy the game.

That's both clever and classy. Bonds would have probably sulked off the field and then tried to have the fan ejected.

I think the NBA was stupid to fine him. It was only a $10 bet which is pretty fucking meaningless to him... I enjoy that sort of fan interaction. I think it should be encouraged.
