Star Trek predicted everything, for all time.
I don't know how many of you watched it, but there was a thing on the History channel called "How William Shatner changed the world" or something like that. He was the narrator, and basically talked about how Star Trek influenced the future minds of our scientific greats in today's age. They interviewed a bunch of fans who were kids in the late 60's who now work at NASA and for SETI and things like that. It was actually really informative, plus Shatner as a narrator was brilliant.
