it's a fucking tv show....who fucking cares ;)

OMFG 3 WEEKS! THE WORLD MIGHT END, AND YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY NOT KNOWING HOW THE SEASON ENDED!

i'll give you a hint, jack wins, saves the president, disarms the terrorists, saves the free world, and then rides quietly off into the sunset after having everything in his life destroyed, just like last season.

you know of course that i'm teasing you...but seriously, there are more mind enriching forms of entertainment.

(editor's note: xou knows i'm teasing, for any of you other fuckheads who feel like responding...don't, because this is a joke. I don't give a fuck if you watch innane fucking tv and I don't give a fuck what you think about it. Have fun doing it, and we'll call it even)

Really the whole "New to someone" concept is rather pathetic, it allows them to order half the new episodes they used to order, then they dole out 13 to 14 new episodes over the 'season' while replaying them in between each other, then they go to a 'rerun' season where they play them again.

I blame shows like Friends where a group of moderate talents force the producers to give them 5 bloody mill an episode each, and the networks that want to see 50% profit margins instead of 35%.

Free television will eventually die anyways, then we can pay for channels that have new episodes based on their subscriber numbers, and good shows will burn out faster and poor ones will last longer, but with less episodes.

To be honest, I watch like 5 hours of network based TV a week, and the only other stuff I watch when I have the TV in the background is TLC, History channel, VH1, occasionally MTV, and the rare old movie on AMC. So I feel no sense of loss on the network side.

24 is like... the only show I watch. I guess you just have to watch it to understand why waiting three weeks is such a pain in the ass.

I watched it last season, and yes I actually watched the whole season, to give it a chance to prove to me it was as incredible as the universe says. It was obvious, predictable, and I wasn't impressed.

It's a novel idea for tv, but it's still just tv. Not to sound snooty, but it doesn't entertain me. You know that.

(it is good for my editorial comments tho, because there's OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of silence between dialogue)

I just started watching it this season. Saw the first episode of season two, loved it... rented first disc of season 1, loved it. Bought season 1 on dvd and watched it in 3 days.

I just thought I would have remembered seeing it before since you know, we like... lived together for almost two years. ;)
