Interesting. With the canidates the GOP has as its front-runners right now, he would probably be the most electable Republican that they could put out there. Just looking at the way he has voted, he appeals to the ultra-conservatives and the moderates.....and doubt he has quite the ties to special interest groups that some of the Repub candidates may have.

There is only one republican I would vote for is Ron Paul. He is more libertarian than republican and only ran on the republican ticket to get elected. It is unlikely he will be able to raise 100 million dollars necesary to be competitive in a presidential run though. I would vote for him though.
