For those of you that saw Old School or Starsky and Hutch and remember laughing at the Wedding Reception scene or the Bar Mitzvah scene because of the band that was playing... They're called 'The Dan Band' and they're now available on Itunes for purchase. Sadly it's not the full album, but it's enough.
All of their songs are covers/medleys of other music that would typically be sung by a woman. As an example, the Hold On (Wilson Phillips)/Luka (Suzanne Vega) medley is FUCKING HILARIOUS. Don't get me wrong, I recognize the overall juvenile-ness of this music, but it's still fucking funny.
Personally, I just about died when they played Total Eclipse of the Heart during the reception in Old School and I've been wanting to buy them (digitally) forever.
