Error reinstalling WoW

Anyone seen this? This happens when I try to apply WoW-1.12.0-enUS-patch.exe. I am still researching, but cannot find definitive fix as of yet.

Error encountered. Retrying: The patch "Kalimdor_26_12.adt" could not be applied. (CRC mismatch: expected 0x100af8e2, actual 0x9d5b64c3.) If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (BNUpdate::PTCApply)

Is there some reason you don't just reinstall from scratch and download the entire current patch from them? Why are you messing with 1.12?

Was just going along with WoW installer shit....it D/L'd the 1.12 after I started game after initial DVD install. So should I ifind some kind of latest cumulative patch then?

I've never accepted a WoW patch download. I do remember something about that error before, and I just got the patch from Fileplanet and moved on.

Got it working I think...at least to .12. It seems the auto-DLer didn't like me.... will see now if I can remember what all the shiny buttons do.
