Quick Question

Post by Soreali »

Hey guys,

I thought I've seen this done before and was wondering if anyone had an idea on how I can find this out myself..

I'm looking to find out the owner of a website.. it's a .com website so I figured it wouldn't be too hard to find out. Anyone happen to know how I can do this?

Thanks.
Timmah.

Use whois on a number of sites.. example:

http://nwtools.com/default.asp?prog=xwh ... nvault.org

put in the domain and click lookup above it.

Also note that abuse of such information is against laws, etc. Also a lot of people (if they can) forge the info, like above.

godaddy and register.com both will tell you, just put in the real addy and after it says it is taken, click on more information.
