Can someone recommend me an easy to use Wiki that doesn't require a webserver with a shitload of weird software that I know nothing about to run?
I need to put together a handbook for something and I thought that a wiki-style layout with links etc etc would be good, would also allow certain other people to update (it needs to work with permissions, not for everyone to shit all over btw).
Assume that the person running it / admining it knows as much about softwareprogramming as your grandmother does about programming a vcr.

A quick google search came up with this.

Hosted solution, personal and private stuff, or you can make stuff public if you like.
No wierd software or servers to administer and it looks like a pretty inexpensive service too.

If "a shitload of weird software" does not include Apache, PHP and mysql, MediaWiki works pretty well. As well as powering Wikipedia, we use it at work and while I didn't set it up myself, it took one of the guys on my team like an afternoon to get it up and running.
