360 Dashboard Update Details

According to the article, MS hopes to release it in about a week.

Features include:

Downloads from the Marketplace can be queues and done in the background while doingo ther tasks. If you play games online, then the download will be paused to free up the bandwidth

A new category has been added to the Marketplace called "Media and Entertainment".

Game demos can now be searched by Genre instead of being lumped in one big list. Themes and Gamer pictures also have their own list. Game Trailers also have their own section.

Another thing I like is the ability to setup your console so that it goes to the dashboard when you power it on instead of starting the disk in the drive, which I think is a big thing for me since we use the thing to play DVD's too.

This is a firmware update too so no space lost on the HDD.
