Going to vote before or after supper. I've also encouraged several people to go out and vote too.

Prediction: Harper wins the minority government and we go back to the polls in just over 1 year.

I'll dance with glee when the liberals are kicked to the curb. No party should be in power that long. They get lazy and corrupt.

But as much as I dig getting some new, non-liberal blood in there, Harper leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Something about that guy just does not sit right. It will be an interesting year.

I had a tough time deciding betweem the Liberals, the NDP, the Communiste party, and the crazy guy htat lives at the Salvation army that believes "our economy can be improved by reducing sin, because sin is expensive"

Conservatives were not an option. That fucker kept saying he was reducing GST by 2% but conviniently left out the fact he was raising income tax by 1%. Ohh well, I dont think Harper can do too much damage right now in a minority governement, if he does, it will be one of the other parties for letting it happen.

BTW, am I the only one that is really happy about the fact that the bloc received way less that 50% of the vote? Maybe that will shut them up for a while.

I saw a few evaluations from news agencies concerning the parties's tax cuts and at the end of the day, the numbers all came up to pretty much the same thing.

The Conservative platform just put (or left) more money in my pocket on a daily basis than the liberal platform did.

Prediction - two years we go back and do it again.

If Harper can steer the course carefully the Conservatives could see a majority in the next election.
