I've been pondering purchasing an MP3 player, and was going to go with an iPod.
Glad I waited awhile before deciding to get one... I will be getting one of these sometime in the next week or so (when I get time):

I don't need one of those huge capacity iPods... this one will work just fine for my needs.

kyoukan: It's not?

If you haven't already bought it, make sure to go to the store and check it out first.. I was considering one myself, until I saw it in the store. I didn't like it there. Scratches way too easily, and just didn't really care for it for some reason. Ended up getting the normal iPod. Price for space wise, it's a no brainer.
Friend of mine bought one from their website. Got it and it does not power up. Spent a LONG time on the phone and they demanded she would drive 60 miles to some store to have it checked out. She refused. Then they wanted to send her a new cable when that was not the issue. Then they dropped the bomb: Any further calls will cost $36 per call.
Their horrible customer service is enough to make sure I never buy anything from them.

Is it not returnable if purchased from their website? I'd send that POS back.Kelshara wrote:Friend of mine bought one from their website. Got it and it does not power up. I played around with a Nano at Fry's and wasn't that impressed with the touchpad menu navigation system.
Mice > Touchpads
Buttons > Touchpads on iPods
Scroll wheels > Touchpads on iPods

Apple must be stopped! It was me Siji that's been scratching up the Nanos at stores. They are an evil empire overcharging for their products worse than the oil companies. They come out with something decent once every ten years or so and then market the shit out of it (their commercials are pretty good). Apple is all glitz and glamour with no meat and potatoes! Steve Jobs is insane with power and forces his employees to rush out products with flaws.
If Apple came out with a game console it would cost $999.99 with and assortment of maybe three $99.99 games.
