ESPN FFL Question

Post by Sylvus »

Anyone here familiar with how ESPN's Keeper leagues work? This is the first year that my league is having keepers, how does that work with the draft? I can't seem to find the information on their site, but let's say that we have a 12 person league and you're keeping 2 players. Do the first two rounds of the draft automatically just run and pick your keepers? If someone didn't want to keep anyone, and they had like the 5th and 20th picks, would they get to pick whoever wasn't being kept in those positions?

Or what if you only had one keeper, and were the 12th pick, would you get to keep your keeper with the 12th pick and then get to pick someone with the 13th?

Any help is appreciated, just tweaking my league's settings.

I'm not in the ESPN keeper league but I have been a part of a keeper league for the past 3 years and this is how it goes.

What would happen is that if everyone keeps 2 players, the draft pool would consists of every player minus those 24 players (assuming its 12 teams).

The draft would start at round 1 where team A gets to chose whomever he wants excluding the players that are being kept. You keep chosing players until the entire draft is over. Or in others words, your round 1 and 2 automatically picks your 2 keepers and you go from there.

Also, usually if someone doesnt want to keep any players, its tough shit for them. They kinda need to.
