I don't know if I'd want to play Superman. The original TV series Superman shot himself or was murdered and Christopher Reeve had that unfortunate accident.

In the pic Sarg linked, the red's looks too dark.

Well, if they really want to bomb out, they can have the ultra-pussy Tom Welling(Smallville) in as the man.

He looks fine to me. I don't see anything wrong with the outfit or the actor. I'm having flashbacks to when images of the first X-Men costumes were shown online and fanbois practicaly shit thier collective pants because they were non-traditional. In the end, everything worked out for the best. Just let Brian Singer do his job.

OK OK, it is not his fault. The writers and WB are really to blame. You can have Tom if I can have Kristen Kreuk(sp)! :P

Kate Bosworth is hot, and all of her movies have been great. Blue Crush, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton...

Okay, maybe they do all suck, but she's still hot!

Yeah, the padding doesn't seem right but then again, the original superman on TV in his wool costume and padding looked sort of like that.

On one side, It's Superman. What CAN you do with the suit to make it more movie-ish. On the other hand, look at what they had done with Spidey's suit.

I'm not sure if following the storyline of the old movies is a good idea but we'll see I guess.

The actor has that boyscout look that Superman needs. He still doesn't have the muscle structure that I believe Supes should have but neither did Christopher Reeve.

They could have used the costume muscles like The Flash TV show (guffaw). Superman always looks lame, it's just part of the package. What can you really expect from a character designed in what, the 50's?

Isn't it the same guy that directed the two XMen movies directing Superman? Springer I think...or is he doing the new Batman...no time to look!

If Springer is going it, it has a chance to be good. I'd have Superman look like Mystique, then have a crossover with the X-Men and the movie would be decent.

I only scan your posts for dirty words!

Well, you can see from my post that I was in a rush. I called Singer "Springer" and said I had no time to check : ) Normally I read your posts along with almost everyone elses.

Heh, I only mention it because it's happened 3 times in as many days on various threads. I just wonder if that many people have me on ignore or some shit! Probably just a co-inky-dink. :P
