Terri Shivo's Parent's sell email listings

If you donated money to Terri Schiavo's parents, you're in for a fun surprise...

If you expressed your support to Terri Schiavo and her parents fight to keep her alive, you may begin to receive a steady stream of solicitations.

Terri Schiavo's parents have agreed to sell their list of supporters to a direct-mailing firm.

The company, Response Unlimited pays about $150 a month for 6,000 names and $500 a month for 6,000 e-mail addresses.

A spokesperson for the Schindlers confirmed that they had agreed to sell the information, but won't say for how much.
Wow. That's fucking low.

This was in the news a little before she passed as well. When they were asked about it, they basically dodged the question.

But not in the least bit surprising, they seemed like a bunch of asshats to me.

At first glance I put too much logic into reading that, and I thought you meant they were selling the e-mails of people that supported Mr. Schiavo and wrote e-mails to the parents asking them to just let her go or something. It wouldn't surprise me for them to maybe use it as some cheap way to "get back" at what they ignorantly believe to be supporters of their child's "murder".

Then I re-read it and noticed it was their supporters. I'm seriously at a loss for words. That's just fucking mindblowing.

ASHINGTON, March 28 - The parents of Terri Schiavo have authorized a conservative direct-mailing firm to sell a list of their financial supporters, making it likely that thousands of strangers moved by her plight will receive a steady stream of solicitations from anti-abortion and conservative groups.

I could understand if that sale would mean a large portion of cash for them. They still have bills to pay and such. However, after seeing just how little the money is in comparison I don't see them as having any excuses other than they are trash. They ruin the chances of support for the next victim to hit the national airwaves.

Umm..no, they don't really have any right at all to do that UNLESS they purely wanted to be greedy fucks, but as Hesten said, who is surprised by that?

At least no one has to feel any sympathy for the Schiavo family.
They're hearts are being healed by their newfound cashflow from having their daughter have a nice, enjoyable death that everyone viewing mainstream media can enjoy.

They'll probably make some good cash when they sell the movie rights.
