Crash and burn

I used to be a huge Bledsoe fan when he was with the Pats.
Back when he signed with the Bills I was pretty excited that Buffalo would be getting a top calibre QB... I was wrong, obviously.

I guess Bledsoe's success in New England could mostly be attributed to Belichek.

I bet the Cardinals end up with Bledsoe or Garcia next year. McGown? erm...we need a QB for a few years and hopefully grab a project QB this upcoming draft to work on.

The Lions will end up with Garcia, mark my words!

I'm not certain I'm happy about that, but he's won some ballgames.

I hope the Skins trade or murder Brunell and pick Bled up.

Bledsoe was only marginally good with Bellichek: his best years were with Parcells (he was ok with Pete Carrol).

We need a Quarterback prediction thread! Here's my picks:

Brad Johson -> Arizona
Garcia -> Detroit (Tampa is a maybe, but don't rule out Oakland, of all places)
Bledsoe -> Dallas
Testaverde -> NY Jets
Warner -> Chicago
Gannon -> (retired)
Hasselbeck -> Green Bay (trade)
Stewart -> Seattle
Greise -> Tampa (no change)

That's off the top of my head - I reserve the right to edit to add more as I learn who's available

Did you just say that Seattle would trade Hasselback to pick up Kordell?

If they did a lot of people in Seattle would be fired.

I like Greise and would love to see him in Phoenix. I picked him up late in my Fantasy league as a filler and he stayed in the lineup because he kept having great games. He's a solid QB IMO.

Don't forget Drew Bres. (Green Bay tried to trade for him mid season last year) It's a longshot but SanDiego has done dumb things in the past. I haven't looked into it and SD has money under the Cap to keep both Bres and the rookie but we'll see.

Yeah, forgot about Brees, and Holcomb (Cleveland) for that matter. By all accounts, both are staying put.

Hehe, and I certainly wouldn't suggest that replacing Hasselbeck with Stewart is an upgrade. I would doubt Seattle would, either. I just get the sense that GB really wants Hasselbeck to replace Favre (who is gone either now or after this coming season), and that Seattle may be interested as well. Clearly, Seattle would have to come up with another body (draft, likely, or perhaps Garcia or Brees) as a solution to their quarterback position. In any event, I think Kordell ends up there, too, because he gravitates towards situations where there is no clear cut starter, situations where (he feels) there's a chance to win the job.

If Hasselbeck ends up in Green Bay, maybe Kitna will make a second go in Seattle.

Kitnas a far better choice then Stewart.

Which is to say....Seattle is fucked.

Warner is not going to anyplace cold. He is a little fragile and has had some problems outside. I could see him landing in a domed stadium.....possibly Detroit. I do see Bledsoe in Dallas and Testaverde in NY.

Brees is going to be franchised this off-season. Where that leaves Rivers ill be interesting to see.

Brees will be franchised as long as he plays that good, if he has another good year, expect rivers to be traded for a top 5 pick

Hasselbeck would be a good fit in GB, I think. He already knows the system since he was a backup for Favre when Holmgren was the head coach. I hope they get him.

Can't stand Hasselbeck :( The thought of him releasing Favre is a sucky one!

I'm really curious who Cleveland will pick up or if they are going with Holcomb.
