Excellent photo montage

Post by Brotha »

This is a pretty good montage of photos, there's a song w/ it to so turn the speakers on. Thiis brought my mom to tears both of the times she watched it (my brother is in Iraq.) Of course, my mom cries from anything, so that might not mean much. I really don't want this to turn in an Iraq war debate/flamefest, I just wanted to share this...

What does this have to do with current events?

I should make a montage of pictures of tens of thousands of dead and disfigured Iraqis...
I wonder if that would bring your mom to tears....

It's about the troops, not the war- you know the troops you say you support while being against the war?

3 things

1. some great photography
2. was that guy putting gasoline in that donkey's ass?
3. the 2 chick soldiers laying on each other was hawt

I wish there was as much support for these guys from our government as their appears to be (from the outside) for military contractors.

I'm sure KBR families get more than $250,000 if their father dies in Iraq. And i wouldnt be surprised if that life insurance was paid for in the contract to KBR, so it isnt an incurred operational cost for them.

anyway, i think its good that people email stuff like this, because it does get people supporting the troops, etc. Would be nice if there was as much organization behind making sure the Guard and Reserve got decent health benefits (since they are effectively full time military now) and so on.

Anyway long list of things that should be improved.

And unfortunately the sacrifice isnt shared across our population.

When the Reserves or NG are assigned to Active Duty, they get the same benefits as Active Duty does.

Very nice photo essay... nicely done.
